Our team provides pediatric physiotherapy across Durham Region and most of York Region. You can find detailed information about the service areas for each team member on our booking platform, the Jane App. Simply click ‘Book Now’ to access the Jane App and view individual coverage details.
No, we do not require a physician referral or prescription to see your child for physiotherapy treatment. However, if you have private insurance, your insurance provider may require a physiotherapy prescription from your primary care provider in order submit a claim for reimbursement. We recommend that you refer to your insurance provider to determine if this is required prior to completing the initial assessment.
Yes, we provide direct billing for in-home physiotherapy sessions with most major insurance providers. If you would like us to directly bill your insurance provider, please notify us prior to your initial assessment. We will require a copy of your insurance coverage details beforehand to arrange for direct billing.
For our group classes, as they are pre-paid in advance, direct billing is not currently offered. However, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on individual circumstances. After each group class, we provide a paid receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
